Denture Services in Marietta, GA

If you have lost or damaged your natural teeth due to injury, tooth decay, or other factors, your best solution may be complete or partial dentures. Affordable and aesthetically identical to regular teeth, dentures can help fix many of the problems caused by missing or misshapen teeth.

Modern dentures are very sophisticated and versatile as long as the dentist has proper training and experience. You may be surprised to learn that your dental issue could be affordably resolved with meticulously crafted custom dentures.

  • Missing Tooth
If left unaddressed, a missing tooth could cause the adjacent teeth to shift. A partial denture can serve as a placeholder for the missing tooth, preventing teeth from moving around.
  • Several Missing Teeth
Partial Dentures can help those who are missing anywhere from 2 to 15 teeth on the top jaw or the bottom jaw. If you are missing all of your upper or lower teeth, full dentures can help restore your youthful, beautiful smile.
  • Severe Tooth Decay
Some people have teeth that are so decayed or damaged that they cannot be saved. These individuals may benefit from tooth extractions and custom partial or full dentures.

Our expertise and compassion at Atlanta Dentures may make the process of being fitted for dentures easier than you might expect.

Our Process:

  1. Initially, your painful or diseased remaining teeth are removed in as painless a procedure as possible.
  2. An impression (or model) is made of your upper and/or lower jaw either before or after tooth removal, depending on your wishes.
  3. An “immediate” denture serves as your “band aide” so that you can keep your smile and live your life as normally as possible while the gums and bone remodel heal.
  4. Once your tissues are completely healed from the extractions, you can be fitted with your premium or deluxe dentures (which would replace your “immediate” or “band aide” dentures). Surprisingly, many people are able to chew fairly normally even during the year-long healing/remodeling phase.

If, however, you are about to experience your first loss of one of your adult teeth, it is essential to replace the tooth as soon as possible. A partial denture is the most affordable, non-invasive, and effective means of filling in the gap left by your missing tooth. If you have more than one missing tooth, the partial will replace those teeth with no additional cost.

Types of Dentures

When considering your dental restoration options, it is important to talk with your dentist about the various types of dentures available. Dentures have come a long way in recent years; they are surprisingly strong and realistic.

  • Immediate Dentures:
These temporary dentures are used to give you a natural looking smile while your gums remodel following tooth removal. The temporary or immediate denture serves as a placeholder until your gums heal enough to support a new denture after the healing process has been complete (typically one year).
  • Partial Dentures:
Partial dentures are designed to replace one or more missing teeth (upper or lower). Cast metal partial dentures provide the best combination of durability, comfort, strength, and aesthetics.
  • Full Dentures:
Full dentures are reserved for those who are missing all their teeth. For an even more realistic-looking smile, you might consider premium or deluxe dentures.
